CrimsonLogic Wins a Landmark Contract for eJustice Programme in the United Arab Emirates

Singapore, 11 February 2008 – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Justice appointed CrimsonLogic – a leading eGovernment solutions provider that pioneered several world’s first nationwide electronic services – to develop and operate a revolutionary eJustice programme for the UAE.

His Excellency Mohammed Bin Nekhaira Al Dhaheri, Minster of Justice of the UAE said, “We have selected CrimsonLogic as a partner in implementing this initiative because it possesses a stellar track record of operating sustainable eJustice systems and services. Leveraging CrimsonLogic’s expertise will assure us of the delivery of a truly end-to-end suite of eJustice services.”

The objectives of the eJustice Programme are to enhance the Judiciary’s transparency and efficiency, promote the legal fraternity’s professionalism and create greater access to justice for the people and businesses in the UAE.

“This initiative is aligned to the UAE Government Strategy to achieve sustainable and balanced development and ensure continued high quality and standards of living. With the implementation of this Programme, individuals and businesses living and operating in the UAE can look forward to more user-friendly electronic transactions with and greater ease of access to the Judiciary, anytime, anywhere. We are also confident that the eJustice Programme will foster a conducive environment for trade and investment in the UAE,” added His Excellency Mohammed Bin Nekhaira Al Dhaheri.

This 5-year Programme comprises the development and operations of an integrated platform that enables seamless case filing, legal research, notary services as well as case and document management. At the same time, CrimsonLogic will work closely with the Ministry to operate and drive up the adoption of the ensuing services amongst the government officials and the legal fraternity at large. CrimsonLogic will also assist the Ministry to plan and manage its Information Technology (IT) strategies and initiatives.
